My Story
Hello! I'm Jan Schulz, a Fullstack Developer and AI Engineer who's passionate about creating innovative solutions that bridge technology with real-world applications. My journey spans over two decades, from early internships to founding startups and leading cutting-edge AI development projects.
When I'm not coding or teaching, you'll find me maintaining a healthy lifestyle through cycling, running, and swimming. These activities help me stay balanced and often provide the mental clarity I need for solving complex technical challenges. I'm also an avid podcast listener, always staying updated on the latest in technology, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
As a coffee enthusiast, I believe great ideas often come from great coffee. Whether I'm exploring new brewing methods at home or discovering local coffee shops, these moments of pause often spark my most creative solutions. Developing an AI-enabled platform that summarizes YouTube channels into daily digests. Built scalable backend with OpenAI Whisper for transcription and GPT for summarization, with React/TypeScript frontend.
Medical AI Startup - Fullstack Developer
Worked on stealth AI medical startup project with HIPAA-compliant infrastructure using AWS and Docker. Developed clinical data dashboards with React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
